Halstone chose Sapman v12 and Sage 50 accounts to manage their business processes and we are very pleased to announce that they went live earlier this week.

Target Fastenings go live with Sapman v12

Target Fastenings have been sourcing and supplying a wide range of high quality fastenings and associated accessories to both large and small end users for more than 30 years. 

We are proud to announce that they chose Sapman v12 for their ERP system and have now successfully gone live with help from our support team.  

Sapman v12 now supports kit Selling.

Sapman v12 now supports the selling of a kit of parts within the sales order processing cycle.  This exciting new feature allows a sales line to be declared as Type “kit”.  This means that when a Picking List is raised for the respective Sales Line, the operative will be asked to pick the components of the kit rather than the “finished product”.  A Works Order is therefore no longer needed to convert a list of components into a finished goods through Works Order Processing and the customer sees only the details of the kit on their delivery notes and invoices.  For many businesses this could entirely remove the need for any form of Works Order Processing in their ERP system to maintain accurate stock control of component stock.


EASA Form 1 for the Aviation Industry.

Sapman v12 now fully supports the EASA Form 1 requirements for manufacturers and suppliers to the aviation industry.  EASA is the European Aviation Safety Agency and the EASA Form 1 is the Authorised Release Certificate released by a POA holder for stating that a product, a part, or a component was manufactured in accordance with approved/not approved design data.  Advanced new features allow operatives to create despatch documents for Authorised Release Certificates and to fully comply with this demanding set of requirements.  If you are required to operate under this environment then why not give us a call on 0333 4561212 to discuss your needs further.

New System Requirements for Sapman v12

Sapman v12 is an ever improving product with exciting new features being added constantly. As a result we have had to change Sapman v12’s minimum system requirement to, .NET Framework 4.5.2.  This will mean that your server and all client PCs which use Sapman v12 will need to be updated to the latest version of the .NET Framework.

Updating is easy, and there is a chance you already have the required version. To update to the latest version follow the link below to download and run an installer and then follow the on screen steps.

If you already have the higher version of .NET you will be told when you run the installer.

We have also recently changed our minimum requirement of SQL Server version to SQL Server 2012.

We are enjoying 3 days at the NEC showing subcontractor manufacturing companies the benefits of our Sapman v12 ERP system. What is interesting is that so many businesses were thinking that they needed to upgrade from Sage 50 to Sage 200.

They now know they don’t if they use Sapman v12 for their main business operations and procedures – saving serious money!!
